Bartender
As a Bartender, you’ll play a key role in delivering elevated low-ABV and zero-proof cocktails with precision, consistency, and care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume service, has strong technical skills behind the bar, and is genuinely passionate about hospitality and the evolving world of mindful drinking.
In addition to supporting daily restaurant service, Bartenders may also support Sipeos catering, private events, and off-site bartending events, including setup, beverage service, guest interaction, and breakdown.
You’ll work closely with the Bar Lead and Management to uphold Sipeos’ standards of quality, speed, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Cocktail Execution & Service
Prepare and serve a dynamic menu of non-alcoholic and low-proof cocktails with consistency, accuracy, and speed
Set up and break down your bar station, ensuring all tools, ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and supplies are ready for service
Maintain clean, organized, and efficient bar operations in a fast-paced environment
Follow proper batching, measuring, pouring, garnishing, and recipe standards at all times
Monitor bar inventory during service and communicate replenishment needs to the Bar Lead or Management
Guest Experience
Engage guests with confidence and warmth, answering questions about ingredients, wine, beer, low-ABV cocktails, and non-alcoholic alternatives
Deliver attentive and genuine hospitality while maintaining efficient service
Help guests understand the Sipeos beverage program and create a welcoming experience for those exploring mindful drinking
Recognize opportunities to personalize the guest experience and make guests feel seen and celebrated
Catering & Bartending Events
Support Sipeos catering, private events, restaurant buyouts, and off-site bartending events as scheduled
Assist with preparing and packing beverages, mixers, garnishes, bar tools, glassware, ice, and other event supplies
Help set up functional and visually organized bar stations at event venues
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to the event menu and Sipeos standards
Provide professional, engaging guest service throughout events
Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, repacking equipment, and returning supplies to the restaurant
Help maintain accurate inventory and communicate any missing, damaged, or depleted event supplies
Be comfortable working in different event environments, including private homes, corporate events, and larger catered gatherings
Prep & Team Collaboration
Assist with batching, syrup preparation, tea infusions, garnishes, and other cocktail mise en place as needed
Communicate effectively with the bar team, servers, kitchen team, and Management to maintain seamless service
Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and downtime responsibilities during each shift
Maintain cleanliness of the bar, glassware, coffee station, soft-serve station, register area, shelving, and surrounding workspaces
Support serving staff as needed, including taking orders, running beverages or food, clearing tables, and assisting guests
Contribute wherever needed during busy periods to support the overall restaurant and guest experience
Learning & Development
Stay curious and informed about non-alcoholic and low-ABV beverages, cocktail techniques, new products, and industry trends
Take direction from the Bar Lead and Management and use feedback to continuously improve
Be open to cross-training and taking on additional responsibilities as the bar, catering, and events program grows
Contribute to a collaborative team culture where everyone helps one another succeed

Qualifications
2+ years of experience working behind a bar, preferably in a cocktail-focused or high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of cocktail-building techniques, batching, prep, and bar organization
Interest in non-alcoholic spirits, teas, infusions, wine, beer, and innovative flavor profiles
Strong communication and guest-service skills
Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient under pressure
Reliable and comfortable working both restaurant shifts and occasional catering or off-site events
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event shifts as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Ability to transport, set up, and break down bar supplies and event equipment as needed

Job Details
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour + tips
Expected Hours: 24–30 per week
Additional catering and event shifts may be available based on business needs.

Casual dining restaurant
Private and catered events
Occasional off-site event venues
Schedule:
Monday–Sunday
Primarily evening shifts, with some morning shifts
Morning shift: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Evening shift: 3:30 PM–closing
Additional catering and event shifts may take place outside regular restaurant hours

Off-site locations for catering and bartending events as scheduled
